What Is Ramp Model?

When you require a defintion of us, you must give us a little context at least.

Here is one RAMP model:

An easy model that you can use to evaluate your business ideas you come up with. This is called the RAMP model.
Let’s start with the first letter, R, which stands for Return. Return really is return on investment.

R	Discuss Exit Strategy (acquisition or IPO)
R	Is it profitable? Will your revenues be higher than your expenses?
R	Time to breakeven (how long before cash flow positive? How long until the company begins to have an aggregate net income)
R	Investment Needed. How much money will it take to start-up this venture. Will it be $20,000, $200,000, or $2,000,000?

Now let’s look at A. A stands for advantages.

A	Look at cost structure (suppliers, what each element will cost to source or manufacture)
A	Barriers to entry (large competitors, regulations, patents, large capital requirements. If there are many barriers to entry, it will be difficult to enter a market. The higher the barriers to entry, the more disadvantaged you will be.
A	Intellectual Property. Do you have a proprietary advantage such as a patents or exclusive licenses on what you will be selling.
A	Distribution Channel. How will you be selling your product? Will you sell it direct to the consumer via the Internet, sell it to wholesales, sell it to businesses, or sell it to retail stores. If can develop a unique distribution channel this can surely be an advantage.

Now let’s look at M. M stands for Market.

M	The Need. Is there a big need for this product or service. Try to avoid ideas that sound cool but there is no real need for. Make sure your product or service fills and need or solves a problem.
M	Target market (who are you selling to? businesses? consumers? what demographics?)
M	Analyze target market (who are you selling to? businesses? consumers? what demographics?)
M	Pricing (what you they charge, what will be the price, will there be a high enough markup).
M	Analyze market size

Finally let’s look at P. P stands for potential.

P	Risk vs. Reward. How risky is the opportunity? If it is very risky, it there a chance for the business to do very well. Will there be a high reward for the founders and investors if the company succeeds?
P	The Team. Is the team right for the business. Do you have knowledge in this area.
P	Timing. Is the market ready for your product. You may have a great idea for flying cars, but if consumers are not ready for your product you may not be able to turn your idea into a successful business.
P	Goal Fit. Does the business concept fit the goals of the team to create a high potential or lifestyle business?

By using the RAMP model, you should be able to do a thorough job analyzing your business ideas and opportunities presented to you.

And here is another ramp model:
A key distribution center (KDC) of a network is a server enabling private communications within groups of users. The center provides the secret keys for encrypting and decrypting the messages. A distributed key distribution center (DKDC) is a set of servers that jointly realizes a KDC. In this paper we introduce a ramp model for unconditionally secure DKDC. In the ramp approach, the required resources (randomness, information storage, messages to be exchanged, etc.) can be reduced at the cost of a security degradation which depends on the size of the coalition of users who tries to break the scheme. We show lower bounds on the amount of information needed to setup and manage such a DKDC and describe a simple protocol meeting the bounds.

What Is RAMP (RAMP)?

RAMP DeFi is a decentralized protocol that intends to boost DeFi adoption by allowing non-Ethereum (ETH) users to stake tokens on ETH platforms; at the same time, Ethereum users can interact with the RAMP protocol and increase their yields.

RAMP DeFi allows the staked capital of non-ERC-20 staking blockchains to be collateralized into a stablecoin known as rUSD that is issued on the Ethereum blockchain. The main result of this is the maximization of capital efficiency on stacked digital assets, where users earn staking rewards, unlock liquidity from staked assets and stack multiple yield streams at the same time.

Users who are already on the Ethereum blockchain can mint eUSD by depositing their ERC20 stablecoins into RAMP’s eUSD liquidity pool. This means that rUSD and eUSD holders can exchange, lend or borrow both tokens freely and in turn create liquidity for users with capital locked into staking arrangements.

RAMP’s creation was prompted by the rapid growth of the staking economy, which has exceeded $300 billion by 2021, combined with the inefficiency of said economy’s markets.

Who Are the Founders of RAMP?

RAMP was co-founded by Lawrence Lim and Loh Zheng Rong. Before RAMP, Lim was the head of international growth at IOST and handled global sales at TradeGecko. He was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC and asset management at JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Lim studied at the Nanyang Technological University and got a bachelor of business degree in banking and finance with First Class Honors.

Loh Zheng Rong co-founded NOX Pte Ltd and was a blockchain consulting partner at Merkle Ventures LLP. He was also the chief innovation officer at 2359 media, as well as the senior advisor of ICONIC Partners. He was also the chief operating officer and co-founder of Toucanapp Pte Ltd. He has a bachelor of business administration (B.B.A) degree in finance wealth management from the Singapore Management University.

What Makes RAMP Unique?

Проблемы экосистемы DEFI на Ethereum

Большая часть инноваций в экосистеме Дефай, в основном происходят в блокчейне Эфира — опираясь на основные лендинг платформы, такие как Compound, Aave и MakerDao. А также в значительной степени — на основе широко распространённых стейблкоинов USDT, USDC и DAI.

Например, пользователям дефи требуется доступ к большим пулам ликвидных стейблкоинов в сети эфира, для участия в так называемом доходном фермерстве (yield farming). Которое возникает в результате одного или комбинации нескольких процессов. Таких как; заработок процентов полученных от лендинг платформ, предоставление ликвидности в пулы и фарминг Дефи токенов.

Однако несмотря на то, что рост экосистемы Дефи в блокчейне эфира является по истине внушительным, довольно большая часть пользователей криптовалют осталась не у дел. Они не смогли воспользоваться Дефай продуктами развёрнутыми на эфире. Это пользователи которые уже вложили свои деньги в другие криптовалюты, никак не связанные с блокчейном эфира (не Erc20 токены). И теперь они либо просто ожидают рост своего капитала, либо используют стейкинг (если он предусмотрен), чтобы заработать дополнительные проценты.

Если эти пользователи желают поучаствовать в Дефи, без вливания дополнительных денег, тогда им придётся закрыть свои существующие позиции по другим альткоинам, чтобы высвободить средства и переключится на токены в блокчейне эфира. Это неоптимальный вариант, ведь в таком случае пользователи упускают прибыль по стейкингу или за счёт возможного роста актива, который они вынуждены продать.

Что предлагает RAMP DEFI ?

Команда RAMP разрабатывает уникальное решение, в котором застейканные активы в блокчейнах не относящихся к эфиру (например IOST или Elrond), будут обеспечены стейблкоинами rUSD — выпущенными в блокчйне эфира (ERC20) через мост платформу rMint .

По такой же схеме, владельцы стеблкоинов на эфире (USDT,USDC,DAI) смогут создавать второй тип стейблкоинов eUSD , отправляя свои ERC20 активы в пул ликвидности eUSD-RAMP .

Владельцы rUSD и eUSD, смогут брать займы, давай займы, фармить, а также свободно обменивать rUSD на eUSD. Создавая тем самым бесшовную систему ввода и вывода в экосистему DEFI на эфире, для пользователей имеющих активы в стейкинге, которые не относятся к блокчейну эфира.

Вся платформа будет построена на нескольких модулях, связанных между собой. С одной стороны в систему будут попадать сторонние альткоины, с другой токены на эфире стандарта ERC20. И встречаются они на лендинг платформе rFinance, где пользователи смогу брать или одалживать займы.

Помимо этого есть модули rStake и eFarm.

Первый является агрегатором стейкинг нод, туда отправляются уже обеспеченные альткоины — и кладутся в стейкинг.

Второй модуль eFarm оптимизирует полученные депозиты ERC20 токенов из eMint, и распределяет их между rFinance и другими платформами для фарминга.

По 20% полученного профита из этих модулей, отправляется в модуль rPool. В котором концентрируется 40% профита всей платформы RAMP, включая комиссии из обменника (отдельный модуль rSwap). Эти 40% профита распределяются между холдерами токенов RAMP.

Преимущества такой модели, для владельцев альткоинов не относящихся к эфиру — очевидны! Они смогут обеспечить свои альткоины, токенами rUSD и получать как доход от стейкинга этих альтов, так и доход от фарминга в экосистеме DEFI на эфире. То есть им не придётся инвестировать новые дополнительные средства в крипту, чтобы использовать DEFI продукты!

Примечательно что IOST, ELROND, NULS, SOLANA, NerveNetwork — уже подтверждены в качестве партнеров и будут доступны в RAMP DEFI.

Для чего нужен токен RAMP?

Токен RAMP разработан в качестве utility и управленческого токена. Он помимо прочего, будет использоваться в системе, для голосования и управления проектом. Этим будут заниматься крупные холдеры, владеющие 1 и более % токенов.

Обычные пользователи смогут стейкать токены RAMP и получать часть профита, генерируемого в модуле rPool. Кроме того стейкеры, получат более выгодные условия по фармингу (за предоставление ликвидности).

Также в системе RAMP Defi будет действовать реферальная программа . Пользователи смогут зарабатывать токены RAMP, за привлечение новых участников в экосистему.

Сторонние разработчики, тоже смогу заработать токенов RAMP, за разработку или помощь в разработке полезных решений для экосистемы. Например интеграционные мосты с новыми блокчейнами.
