The extension can also integrate with other Binance Chain products for authentication and transaction signing without providing access to your private keys, which are stored securely within the extension’s storage space and encrypted with your password.

To make this integration possible, the extension needs to add code to handle the communication between web apps you open in your tabs and the extension itself. This is why the extension requires the permission to access any webpage.

Кошелек Binance Chain — инструкция по установке и использованию расширения в Google Chrome

В 2021 году резко выросло число криптовалютных проектов, выбирающих для своей работы токен стандарта BEP-20. Этот стандарт имеет несколько преимуществ в сравнении со стандартом ERC-20 основной сети Ethereum. Среди этих преимуществ — скорость передачи транзакций, а также гораздо меньшая их стоимость. Одним из наиболее понятных и удобных в использовании инструментов в сети BEP-20 является Кошелек Binance Chain. В этой статье инструкция по установке и использованию данного кошелька.

1. Заходим в браузер Google Chrome, переходим по ссылке — нажать сюда.

2. Устанавливаем расширение Кошелек Binance Chain.

3. В правом верхнем углу браузера заходим в появившуюся иконку кошелька.

4. Нажимаем «У меня нет кошелька».

5. Создаём надёжный пароль.

6. Записываем на бумагу seed-фразу из 12 слов, сохраняем в надёжном месте. Готово!

По умолчанию в настройках установленная сеть Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20). При желании сверху во всплывающем списке можно переключиться на старую сеть BEP-2 или на основную сеть Ethereum ERC-20.

Часто кошелек Binance Chain используют для получения и отправки BNB, а также токенов стандарта BEP-20. Для получения BNB или любого токена используется один и тот же адрес, скопировать который можно нажатием на значок копирования:

Binance Chain Extension Wallet is a Crypto Wallet for Binance Chain, Binance Smart Chain. You can send and receive funds on Binance Chain, Binance Smart Chain and cross-chain transfers between both of Binance’s blockchains. It’s currently supported in major browsers: Chrome and Firefox.

Since the latest release, Binance Chain Extension Wallet adds support for Ethereum blockchain and enable access for distributed applications, or «Dapps» in your browser!

If you don’t have Binance Chain extension installed in your browser, you can download the extension here.

Why you should use it

Secure your fund

Extension Wallet allows users to manage accounts and their keys in a variety of ways, while isolating them from the site context.

Back up your seed phrase!

The following point is enough to warrant its own subheading. Extension Wallet is a non-custodial service, meaning that no one else can access your funds – not even the developers. Your tokens exist in a sort of encrypted vault within your browser, protected by your password. That means that if your computer is lost, stolen, or destroyed, nobody can help you recover the wallet. Your private keys will be forever lost in the void of cyberspace.

So, it’s crucial that you write down your seed phrase. This is the only way you can restore your account should something unfortunate happen.

Where are my tokens?

So your BEP20 tokens gone, but your account doesn’t show your tokens. No need to panic – you have to add them manually.

For more popular tokens, you can select Add Token in your wallet and search for the name . In the future, you can also add the contract address to add the less popular ones

Get Testnet BNB from Faucet

  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain Testnet after unlock your extension wallet
  • Paste your address in the box and click on “Give me BNB”
  • Click on the “+” and add “BNB” token

After the transfer transaction is sent, you will see an increase in your balance

Transfer Testnet BNB from BSC to BC

  • Switch to Binance Chain testnet and copy your address after unlock your extension wallet, start with tbnb1

Click on the “+” and add “BNB” token

Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet and click on “Send”

  • Click on “Send” when you have filled in other information. You have to confirm it too
  • Switch back to Binance Chain Testnet to confirm this cross-chain transfer

Transfer Testnet BNB from BC to BSC

  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet after unlock your extension wallet and copy your address, start with 0x

Click on the “+” and add “BNB” token

Switch to Binance Chain testnet and click on “Send”

  • Click on “Send” when you have filled in other information. You have to confirm it too
  • Switch back to Binance Smart Chain Testnet to confirm this cross-chain transfer

Swap Testnet BEP2 token to its BEP20 equivalent

  • Follow the instructions above to Install Binance Chain extension wallet if not ready
  • Follow the instructions above to create or Recover your account
  • Switch to Binance Chain testnet after unlock your extension wallet and Click at “+” to add your BEP2 token if necessary

Verify your balance has enough BNB to pay transfer fee

  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet and copy your address, start with 0x

Click at “+” to add your BEP20 token if necessary

  • Switch to Binance Chain testnet and click on “Send”
  • Click on “Send” when you have filled in other information. You have to confirm it too
  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet, you should see your BEP20 token balance change

Swap Testnet BEP20 token to its BEP2 equivalent

  • Follow the instructions above to Install Binance Chain extension wallet if not ready
  • Follow the instructions above to create or Recover your account
  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet and Click at “+” to add your BEP20 token if necessary

Verify your balance has enough BNB to pay transfer fee

  • Switch to Binance Chain testnet and copy your address, start with tbnb1

Note: for mainnet, the address starts with bnb1

  • Click at “+” to add your BEP2 token if necessary
  • Switch to Binance Smart Chain testnet and click on “Send”
  • Confirm your transaction and verify your balance change
