We are all familiar with the ubiquitous SushiSwap/Uniswap clones popping up every week on every EVM-compatible blockchain out there.

The Balancer protocol is a bit different — most distinctly, it allows for liquidity pools with up to 8 tokens, with varying weights (Uniswap only allows 2 tokens with 50–50 weight).

It also has a more abstracted architecture which allows for “smart” and “custom” pools which can even be designed and developed by others and plugged into the protocol.

Balancer V2 brings many key improvements including more efficient gas fees, flash loans & swaps, and what I find most exciting — increased capital efficiency through Asset Managers which can generate additional yield for liquidity providers by investing the unutilized tokens (in Venus Protocol, for example).

What Is ACryptoS (ACS)?

ACryptoS is a decentralized finance (DeFi) product that runs on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and utilizes complex crypto strategies. The two primary ACryptoS products are yield optimizers, also called the ACryptoS Vaults, and a stablecoin decentralized exchange, ACryptoS StableSwap.

The yield optimizers help users maximize profits through vaults that use advanced yield farming techniques. These techniques are automated to help farmers grow their assets in a more efficient and fast manner.

ACryptoS Vaults are investment tools that execute strategies via smart contracts. The vaults make use of assets deposited by the users to perform tasks such as providing liquidity and collateralization, generating yields and compounding interests. Although the vault runs on the BSC, it is a fork of the Ethereum-based yearn.finance (YFI).

ACryptoS Vaults employ some features of the farming mechanism of SushiSwap. Some of the most popular vaults offered by ACryptoS are ACS/ACSI and Venus token vaults. Users who provide ACS and ACSI to the vaults can earn higher yields through a programmed yield farming mechanism.

ACryptoS StableSwap is an automated market maker (AMM) that allows for fast stablecoin trading on the BSC. StableSwap allows for trading with less slippage and lower fees.

ACryptoS is built to encourage long-term staking. Stakers who hold the ACS and ACSI tokens for prolonged periods of time are rewarded. How Many ACryptoS (ACS) Coins Are There in Circulation?

ACS and ACSI tokens are native to the ACryptoS platform. ACS is a BEP-20 token. Its maximum supply is 1,888,888 tokens. After the initial emission, this supply is subject to an 18.65% decrease every 90 days. The ACS team can mint 3% of the total supply for the ACryptos Treasury.

ACS can be staked in the ACS Vaults to earn aggregated returns from the fees, ACS farms and rewards. The ACS token in the ACS vault (acsACS) is the governance token and cannot be transferred. The minimum acsACS required to create new community proposals is 88, while users need 1 token to vote.

Both ACS and ACSI have similar tokenomics, but ACSI is used as an incentive on the StableSwap. The ACSI also has a maximum supply of 1,888,888 tokens.

Intro to ACryptoS = yearn + sushi + curve + beefy on Binance Smart Chain

ACryptoS (Advanced Crypto Strategies) is a yield farming and automated market maker platform on Binance Smart Chain.

It offers two main products currently, a yield optimizer called ACryptoS Vaults that’s similar to yearn’s vaults, and a stablecoin decentralized exchange ACryptoS StableSwap that’s similar to Curve.

ACryptoS Vaults

Their vaults help you yield farm and grow your assets through automated yield strategies, without you to harvest and reinvest the rewards. The smart contract does the hard work for you automatically.

Similar to yearn’s vaults, they help automate the hard work of compounding your rewards for more of the original tokens and through create automations.

The goal is to compound for more of your original deposited assets.

ACryptoS vaults support a variety of strategies from Venus, to CAKE (from Pancakeswap) and other Pancakeswap LP strategies.

ACryptoS Stableswap

ACryptoS stableswap is a Curve-esque stablecoin swap AMM on Binance Smart Chain for cheap stablecoin swaps with low slippage and fees.

They claim to have fee savings of more than 10X cheaper than Ethereum.

Stableswap has a growing number of liquidity pools, such as ACS4USD Corepool comprising of BUSD, USDT, DAI and USDC.

They also have metapools for synthetic stablecoins such as VAI and QUSD.

ACryptoS Tokenomics — ACS and ACSI

ACryptoS has two native tokens to their ecosystem, one for vaults (ACS) and the other for stableswap (ACSI).

ACS has a maximum supply cap of 1,888,888 ACS with a 3669 ACS/day emission, out of which 10% is distributed to the Dev team and 33% distributed to ACS holders.

ACSI on the other hand has no maximum supply cap (similar to Pancakeswap), and has a similar emission schedule as ACS.

Using the vaults on their platform is subjected to several level of fees, of which they will accrue to ACS holders. For example, most yield farming vaults have a withdrawal fee of 0.5% which is used to buy ACS and distributed to ACS holders via the ACS Vault.

There is also a 5% performance fee (for gains) of which up to 0.5% can be paid to the strategy creator, while the remainder is used to buy ACS and distributed to ACS holders via the ACS Vault.

ACSI, which is used to govern their stablecoin AMM, has value accrued to it via a 0.04% exchange fee, of which 50% is used to buy and distribute ACSI to ACSI holders via the ACSI Vault. The remainder is distributed by liquidity providers.

Timelock, risks and smart contract audits

There are multiple levels of risks, hence the high APY. Not only are investors exposed to smart contract risks on ACryptoS, but also on the other platforms that you are yield farming on.

Their developers have also control to assets in vaults behind a 48-hour time lock (similar to other projects) to safeguard funds if needed. Additional tokens can be minted also behind a 48h timelock.

The project has also been recently audited by DeFiYield and all deployed contracts have verified and published source codes on BscScan.
