Overall Review: Absolutely would recommend, great little gpu especially for the price. Unfortunately supply is underwhelming.
Pros: Card runs everything as it should and with very little problems. Been trying to get a GPU for my new pc I built back in sept 2020. Landed on this one in the Newegg shuffle. Have had it installed for almost 2 weeks now. Vastly superior to the GTX 960 I had in a long outdated PC.
Cons: My only complaint is the noise. They are pretty quiet outside of gaming. However once they spin up up to 2000-2200 RPM they are really annoying unless your using a headset. I built this PC to be as quiet as possible without going to a liquid cooling setup. While playing most game the GPU runs a consistent hangs around a temp of 65-72c and runs 2200RPM on the fans. May look into some fan curves or quieter cooling alternatives for the GPU.
Overall Review: Overall a great buy. Would have been 5 eggs if it were not for the fan noise. Maybe a triple fan model would be quieter.
Pros: -You get the performance of a 2060 Super and dont have to pay nearly as much for it. -Small form factor so it fits in just about every build.-I will always recommend EVGA products, they have perhaps the best customer support and warranty track record of any company ive dealt with in the PC component arena.-A great overclocker with plenty of headroom for enthusiasts-They blacked out the ‘red clown lips’ these cards came with initially (thank you for listening EVGA) looks so much better this way.
Cons: -Thermals are bit higher than id like to see, even without an overclock, its going to need really good airflow to keep those temps down (in-game it was common to see 70C-75C without an overclock) my case has below average airflow so something like a meshify or similar will most definitely see better temps-No RGB anywhere on the card (this may be a pro in some peoples eyes but i prefer having the option and its a shame it wasnt available on this model)
Overall Review: Aside from a few nitpicky things (see cons) its an absolute bargain if you can get it at around MSRP. Granted this particular EVGA models price is a bit inflated, i consider it worth it due to the fact that EVGA is so good at resolving any potential issues you might experience down the road and paying EVGAs asking price is much more palatable than paying a scalper
Pros: Figured hey why not try the lottery. Got extra lucky and won a 3060 going from a 1060. Beggars cant be choosers and I love the card so far drastic improvements with my overall changes
Cons: Sucks you gotta literally win a lottery just to get ine of these.
Overall Review: Love the card hate the supply issues that has plagued people who have been waiting longer than I and still are.
